Couples Workshop for Birth Preparation

Pinellas Park.
This workshop provides an opportunity for couples to enhance their awareness of and confidence in pregnancy, labor and birth.
Join certified Prenatal Instructor Haris Lender as she shares with you her knowlege and understanding of natural childbirth and the science of Yoga to support each other during the labor process and beyond. You will learn how to birth consciously, naturally and actively. You will birth from your own empowerment and will learn how to use vocal toning, breathwork, relaxation, meditation, visualization and massage to feel more comfortable during your labor and birth preparation.
Couples will practice postures together that are both beneficial and enjoyable for the rest of pregnancy and during labor. Feel more connected to your unborn baby! Calm and flexibility ease the birthing process, reducing pain and increasing the joy of giving birth.
Haris has given birth to two chldren naturally. She understands that this is not always possible. Haris will share with you the age old Yogic techniques that she has practiced and studied over the years that will help you during one of the most important days of your life. With or without a natural childbirth, the science of Yoga will help you through your Labor and Delivery. Oh, and lets not EVEN mention the rigors of
raising children!
Join me for this fabulous workshop! You must be accompanied by your birthing partner. Wear comfortable loose clothing and come with an open mind and heart! Your baby will thank you one day - I know mine have!
Prenatal Yoga Classes

We don't have a group of pregnant mommies scheduled now, but please join any other ongoing class, provided you first set up at least ONE private class with me. This will give you the opportunity to learn variations and options for you to follow while the regular class practices asanas (poses) that might not be appropriate for a pregnant woman.

~ Breathing techniques will help you stay calm, prepping you for childbirth

~ Strengthen the upper legs - to help carry the new and redistributed weight
~ Don't overdo it!
~ Drink lots of water before, during and after any workout
~ Breathe deeply and regularly
~ Listen to your body! Talk to Haris about any alterations you may need.
She can help you find ways to support yourself or sink into poses carefully.

Private Instruction and Yoga Parties
Yoga is great for pregnant bellies!
To bring the feeling of your favorite Yoga with Haris classes to you, just provide the friends and I will provide the wonderful Yogic experience. You can pick your own time and location, we can use my Yoga studio. Class does not have to be recurring. It can be as often as you or your group would like.
Give a gift of Yoga by purchasing private class time for someone else.
The following time slots are available, but please give me as much advance notice as possible when booking a class:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10am.
Private Instruction rates: $50/hr., $60/75 min., $70/90 min.
